I am super excited to announce, especially after our amazing trip to Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam earlier this year that I’ve just booked another GAP Adventures trip – this time to Nicaragua!
I’ll be going without Michael but am looking forward to the solo experience. The tour is titled Essence of Nicaragua and, although the departure is not yet guaranteed, I am planning to go December 19 – 30, 2010. The tour will begin in Granada and will also visit León, Ometepe Island, and San Juan del Sur.
One of the activities I’m looking forward to is volcano boarding. Watch out, here I come!

UPDATE: Gap Adventures is now GAdventures and the Essence of Nicaragua tour is still offered today. The itinerary is slightly different than it was in 2010 but I’m sure it is still amazing! We highly recommend GAdventures and have used them for over five trips between the two of us.
