December 11 – 12, 2014: After leaving Kentucky we drove, and drove, and drove. Kentucky to West Virginia to Maryland to Virginia (for about a mile) and back into West Virginia. Our night in West Virginia was sad because it could no longer be avoided that it was likely our last dinner and sleep in Camper Dan.
From West Virginia we drove to Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton, Delaware where we partook in their brewery tour and tasting. It was very interesting because of the story of Sam Calagione, the founder, and his innovation and creativity. We then had dinner at the Dogfish Head Brewing & Eats in Rehoboth Beach and decided to do rest of the drive home instead of prolonging the inevitable until tomorrow. Our epic 2014 Camper Dan road trip ended around 10:00pm that evening. Sad face. Extra sad face.
