December 9 – 11, 2014: On our way to Louisville, we stopped in Bardstown. We visited Willett Distillery, a small craft bourbon operation that is family-owned and operated, for a distillery tour. The tour guide was really great and the tour also offered a tasting at the end.

Noshing in Nashville, Tennessee

December 7 – 8, 2014: The typical attractions in Nashville are the Grand Ole Opry and Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage – the oldest preserved presidential home. However, we weren’t very interested in either and headed to downtown Nashville for food and drinks.

Walking in Memphis

Speechless in Arkansas

December 3 – 5, 2014: After crossing the border into Arkansas from Missouri, we stopped around 4:30pm at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. This museum was founded by Sam Walton’s daughter. Sam Walton is the founder of WalMart – not an establishment that I care to support.

Arches National Park
