I just booked a flight to San Salvador, El Salvador for practically next week – I depart April 15, 2011! I’ll be meeting two of my new friends from the recent GAP Adventures Essence of Nicaragua tour for a quick stint exploring El Salvador and Honduras.
The plan is to meet up in El Salvador, spend a few days exploring before taking transport to Roatan, Honduras for some beach time, and then fly home from Tegucigalpa, Honduras on April 24, 2011. We have about a week to try to solidify the plans. I’m very excited to have some more fun with my new friends so soon after meeting in Nicaragua!

UPDATE: Gap Adventures is now GAdventures and the Essence of Nicaragua tour is still offered today. The itinerary is slightly different than it was in 2010 but I’m sure it is still amazing! We highly recommend GAdventures and have used them for over five trips between the two of us.
